Cheshire’s Brookson Enterprise Freelance Fair – “Excellent from Start to Finish”

Thanks to everyone who took part in the Daresbury/ Cheshire’s Brookson Enterprise Freelance Fair on 19th November and made it the most successful event yet in terms of feedback and response.

Our feedback forms tell us that we delivered a 100% recommendation from our delegates – freelancers and entrerpreneurs, along with everyone leaving confident that they would do business as a result of the event and comments such as ‘excellent from start to finish’ and ‘inspring’ and ‘a great opporunity’.

Thanks go especially to our doughty entrepreneurs who bravely took the first step to engaging with freelance marketing, digital, creative and sales talent, and who can now see more clearly the huge efficienency (and funding) benefits of working with talented freelancers from the region.

A number of our entrepreneurs have asked for more events and more workshops around how to win funding and how to build a successful and balanced start up team (using freelance talent, of course) to take your products and services to market.

Equally, we were delighted that delegates both thoroughly enjoyed the workshops and talks from Ian McIlwee of PCG and Andew Webster of Brookson and Neil Lewis, author of 100 Rules for Entrepreneurs.

In addition, our profiling software delivered a high level of valuable managed introductions with many of our delegates describing this part of the event as ‘excellent’.

We will be working on these workshops and building our event program for the new year – so, please stay in touch by joining our newsletter, LinkedIn group and Twitter feed.
