Helping you grow your business at the Enterprise Freelance Fair

If you haven’t yet booked your tickets for the Enterprise Freelance Fair’s celebration of National Freelancers Day in Manchester on the 22nd of November, then you’ll want know about our high powered panel debate.

Our aim in this debate is to stimulate a discussion in the Manchester and the North West about the value of freelancing and to discover how freelancers can better persuade companies to hire them, find new sources of freelance jobs and how companies can more effectively tap the talent and resources of freelancers.

Of course, we’ll follow our debate with our unique tailored networking where we match talented freelancers with organisations and entrepreneurs looking for help.

Here are our panelists – so far

Dr Sue Shaw – MMU
Sue is Head of Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at MMU and is an expert on people performance. We’ll be discussing with Sue about the strengths and weaknesses of freelancers in driving forward business productivity and delivery.

Sally Broom – entrepreneur
Sally runs a high growth online brokerage between local experts and travellers and is heavily recruiting writers to add their local expertise and earn an income. We want to know about Sally’s experiences of finding freelancer writers and contributors.

We are also in discussion with local businesses which heavily recruit freelancers and those which are making their first tentative steps towards working with and incorporating freelancers into their teams.

We’ll have more news to announce shortly. In the meantime, don’t forget to book your tickets here…
