North West freelancer confidence is recovering

New data from the Brookson Enterprise Freelance Fair shows that freelancer confidence in the NW of England is still weak, but is showing signs of recovery from January’s low point.

Neil Lewis, organiser of the Enterprise Freelance Fair said: “This data shows the beginnings of recovery, but freelancers are still nervous about the future. Confidence has been dented by the weather and post-Christmas cuts as well as increasing oil prices which make it more expensive for freelancers to look for work.”

Sample poll was taken during the second half of February 2011 and included 39 freelance respondees based in the North West of England.
