PCG – the professional association supporting freelancers, contractors and consultants – has agreed to support all three Enterprise & Freelance Fairs in North West & Warrington, Cheshire, North Wales and Chester and lastly West Midlands.

Head of Commercial development Iain McIlwee said “these events will give us a great opportunity to share the message with business leaders on how freelance talent can help them build competitive advantage.

“In particular research, commissioned by PCG and delivered by Oxford Economics, shows that UK freelancers add £21 billion to the UK economy.  The value delivered through the flexibility, expertise and dynamism of the freelance talent pool has a huge part to play in helping businesses evolve successfully in the new economy”, he said.

As previously confirmed, Managing Director John Brazier will be speaking about the opportunity for businesses to gain competitive advantage by engaging with freelance talent as well as explaining how PCG can support freelancers and lobby the new government to ensure freelancers have access to a fair and simple tax system.
